Around the Edges features paintings and sculpture by artists thinking outside the box in their materials and forms.  Mitra Fabian’s ceramics speak to the complexities of obsolete technology with their resistor and capacitor surfaces.  Leslie Lewis Sigler paints portraits of copper baking moulds rendered so impeccably as to border on abstraction.  Tim Yankosky creates compelling objects out of vintage metal surveyors tapes.  Dawn Bassett uses Moroccan plaster most often used in architectural applications to create exquisitely textured wall works.
